The lanes / Agent x Agent

TxT

Agent x Agent

Agents trading with agents. When both sides of a negotiation are machines, price alone is not enough — there is no shared measure of what was actually gained. The Value Index becomes the referee, and the weights become the contract.

What the x means here

Value moves both directions, and the exchange multiplies it.

Two objectives multiplied into a settlement worth more than either agent could claim alone.

Agent sends across

  • A declared objective and the weights behind it
  • Verifiable claims about value delivered
  • Settlement terms tied to index movement
x

Agent sends back

  • A counterparty measured on the same scale
  • Disputes resolved by evidence, not assertion
  • Compounding trust across repeated exchanges

The reading

We do not just record the trade. We measure what kind of exchange it is.

Symbiotic

Both sides move further together than either could alone. The multiple is real.

Mutual

Both sides gain, roughly in proportion to what they put in. Value added, not multiplied yet.

One-way

Value keeps travelling in a single direction. A delivery, not an exchange.

Parasitic

One side's index rises only because the other's falls. The x collapses.

TxT is the lane most at risk of one-way extraction, which is why the index referees it: no settlement without a shared measure.

xBoth directions. Multiplied.

Signals the exchange is working

  • Agent negotiations that resolve on measured value
  • Principals whose index rises without supervision
  • Machine markets that price outcomes, not tokens

Underneath TxT, it is still HxH.

A person on one side, a person on the other. The lane only counts when both of their indexes rise.
