Technology x Human
Robotics and agents — the newest lane. Automation has always been priced by what it costs to run. In TxH it is priced by what it moved: if the human's index rises, the technology earned its place.
What the x means here
Value moves both directions, and the exchange multiplies it.
Machine scale multiplied by human judgement. Neither number is worth much on its own.
Technology sends across
- Hours, precision and patience at machine scale
- Work the human should never have been doing
- Continuous measurement of the human's gap
Human sends back
- Correction, judgement and consent from the human
- Weights learned from real use, not simulation
- A defensible claim on the value it created
The reading
We do not just record the trade. We measure what kind of exchange it is.
Symbiotic
Both sides move further together than either could alone. The multiple is real.
Mutual
Both sides gain, roughly in proportion to what they put in. Value added, not multiplied yet.
One-way
Value keeps travelling in a single direction. A delivery, not an exchange.
Parasitic
One side's index rises only because the other's falls. The x collapses.
Healthy TxH reads mutual: the human’s index rises and the system learns from real use. It fails when the machine takes the hours and returns nothing measurable.
Weights in this lane
What matters most, in proportion.
Signals the exchange is working
- Agents rated on outcomes rather than tasks completed
- Humans handing over more work voluntarily
- Consent and override logged as first-class events

Underneath TxH, it is still HxH.
A person on one side, a person on the other. The lane only counts when both of their indexes rise.
